I Don’t Want An Suv Or A Mini-van. What’s The Best Car To Fit A Double Stroller In?

I really hate the idea of a “mom-car”, not to mention those huge gas tanks, but I’m kind of at a loss as to what kind of car I could get to accomodate myself and two small children.

  1. I laughed when I read this, I was the same exact way. I now drive a Toyota Sienna mini-van and would never go back. The storage space is awesome, when we had a sedan we would be packed to the hilt for a day trip, the van has been great, not to mention when your kids get older you can also fit in their friends.
Just give in to the “mom-car” you will like it because it is not so cramped!! And if the kids are not so cramped it makes for better road trips especially on long ones. My kids are 6 and 8 and we got mine when my kids were 2 and 4.

  2. You are a mom driving a car. Any car then becomes a “mom-car” if you’re driving.

  3. when you go to buy a car, just check out the trunk space and safety ratings, then go from there….

  4. Toyota camry, Nissan Maxima, Honda Accord. Don’t go SUV or you will be breaking the bank to put gas in it.

  5. I had a Mazda Protege and a double stroller actually fit in the trunk. I did have to pop off the front tray to get it in but that only took a few seconds, then I would snap it back on after putting the kids in the stroller.

  6. Hello
I have a Nissan Altima and the trunk is large. When I have my cousins I don’t have a problem with putting it in and out of the trunk. Also I had a Mitsubishi Galant 00′ model and it had a large trunk. Of course you shouldn’t ride a bunch of things in your trunk if you want extra space. Oh the magnum are cool and the chargers. You can be a sporty mom. Yes, you are right to not want a mini van. That’s so granny!!!! Argh!!!!!!!! I love big SUV’s. So if you don’t get a large one then please don’t get a small one. They are not worth it. They are so tiny. I know someone with a Trailblazer and it’s very hard to get in and out of the back seat. Especially if you are a heavy person. So imagine loading children in and out.
